Rhodes, Greece
(Part 1)

Arriving at the Greek Island - RHODES
The day began with a tour to the ancient city of Kamiros, once a thriving city during the 5th century BC.
Ancient Kamiros is thirty kilometers west of the city of Rhodes, one of the three powerful cities in this island in ancient times.
It was rediscovered in 1929 and has been called the Greek Pompei because nobody knows why and how the city was deserted
and buried. Most of the ruins are from the Hellenistic Era and include the city market and a Doric temple and arches.
